Mengwi kingdom is one of a powerful kingdom in Bali which lasted until 1891. This temple was built as a place of worship of the royal family and their followers. Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres is a descendant of royalty from Belgium. He was born in Brussels, February 9, 1880, and inherited the art from his parents' blood.
